• Hand Wing™ Stops only take seconds to install. Simply tape the included template to the mirror, and push stop onto bottom of Mirror Housing and tighten hand screw. See Photo above.
• Hand Wing™ Stops, allow you to position the Hand Wings™ in the most fully open position, giving you the maximum air flow.
• With the Hand Wings™ in fully open position (against the stop), they provide the rider with the best possible air flow to the upper body.
• The passenger will get much less air around their head and shoulders with the Hand Wings™ in the fully open position, with almost as much protection as with the Hand Wings™ in fully closed position.
• For the passenger to get the most air, the Hand Wings™ will need to be put in a more neutral position between the open and closed positions.
• The Hand Wing™ Stop will also prevent the Hand Wings™ from possibly turning around too far with a wind blast from a large vehicle going in the opposite direction.
• Hand Wing™ stops will be included in all Hand Wing™ sets sold after February 1, 2010, and will be available as a retro kit for all previously sold GL1800 Hand Wings™. To order a retro kit, simply click on the Add to Cart Button above.
Note: The Hand Wings Stops will not work with those mirrors that have chrome trim around them, without notching out the chrome strip.
